x870e asrock phantom nova

so tempting to purchase the asrock x870e phantom nova wifi motherboard ready for the 9800x3d.. never had asrock before so dont know what they are like. the 8000expo failed on hub video so abit off putting.. should that be a issue to think about or am i being too fussy. as only one im thinking is great for performance is the aorus master which is almost £500! where the asrock nova is £330..... mayb need to wait for further benchmarking when the 9800x3d drops
 
We won't know for sure until the CPU comes out, but there are two things I'd keep in mind:
- The X3D CPUs are typically far less sensitive to memory speed than other CPUs, due to the huge cache.
- There's little benefit from running 8000, compared to a decent 6000-6400 kit anyway.

It is possible that future CPUs might have better memory controllers that push the average clocks higher, but it is not something I'd worry about.
ive also been looking at the gigabyte x870e aorus elite wifi7 £289 and looks fairly decent.
