X99 Asrock Fatal1ty Issue

Decided to move to the 5820k - and of course the X99.

Issue is this, regardless of voltage when changing the multiplier to 41 it hangs (even in BIOS). Bearing in mind its rock solid at 4Ghz i refuse to accept its a ceiling ive hit.

Any ideas?

for 3000mhz mems are you on 125 strap?? You should be. Use this as a starting point and go from that. 1.25v 4.125ghz. GO!!

Ive always been an AMD guy so straps etc are a bit new to me lol

Nah, still got the hump. Funny thing is this board has an auto oc settings for 4/.2 and 4400 and even those settings instantly freeze? (on all accept the 4Ghz)
