I'm on the process to upgrade my X79 system to a X99, at the moment I have an I7 3970X with an Asus Rampage IV Extreme.
While the Rampage is a great MB, I don't use half of it's features, so I think I'm not going to get a Rampage V and put the extra money towards something else.

My needs:
*2011V3 OC socket with extra pins
*4x PCI-E 3.0 16x slots evenly spread
*Support for 4-Way/3-Way/2-Way AMD CrossFire/NVIDIA SLI
*compatible with Broadwell-E processors

I will be overclocking, but nothing extreme.

So far I'm considering the Gigabyte X99-SLI

It is cheap and looks great value for money.

Out of personal interest what is the difference between the SOC Champion and the SOC Force?

From what I can see the Champion offers better memory OC.

Just thinking whether I should consider changing my MSI Krait X99A to something where I may get a better oc? Saying that, I may just be suffering from the upgrade itch as I'm getting 4.5ghz @ 1.27v off the Krait...
