First thing would be have you looked into compatibility?
i last did a hackingtosh with 1156 was first out and i went threw 3 motherboard until i found one that was ok by the OS. also will the gpu work with mac OS?

Hi thanks for you advice,

So far what I understand, UD4 board works fine under Yosemite following many successful X99 hackintosh builds including Bob Roche on Youtube which he also uses Unibeast/Clover but unfortunately the UD4 has been discontinued and replaced with the UD4P which is cheaper and improved, But I haven't seen anyone using this with a X99 Build...

Ok thanks guys,

I was wondering though, will an air cooler be just as good to keep the temp down compared to a water cooler as I'm gonna overclock the 5820k?

Many Thanks
