X99 mATX

I have heard absolutely nothing, so it seems not as I am sure we would have heard something by now if there were. Shame, MATX seems to have largely been ignored on X99, only a handful available.

Yea, ASRock Fatal1ty or Gigabyte Gaming 5 are pretty much the only choice and have been since day one. I was hoping with the new chips it would have seen new motherboards arrive.

I thought we'd have seen more mATX boards too, with the Broadwell-E release. Could an OcUK employee comment on how well the first mATX X99 boards sold? If there wasn't much demand, maybe manufacturers just don't see the point in adding to the line-up? Just speculating of course - I'd have thought it a popular enough form factor.

Yes, makes sense... move from a form factor where there are about 3 boards available to one where there is just 1... logical.

The best two options here are asrock killer M and ASUS x99 WS M. Both great boards and very solid. Both look good too especially ASUS.

The ASUS doesn't have full speed M.2 (neither does the Gigabyte), so it only really leaves the ASRock. I went Skylake instead.
