X99 mobo with Noctua fan?

Review of the fan says do your homework first, case I have is big so not worried about that just want to check it'll fit before ordering!

The fan is appealing to me as it seems to be a lot quieter than other fans.

That is the same cooler on another Gigabyte X99 board (but same layout) as you can see it looks to be close to the first 16X PCI-E slot, in fact that pages does say if the GFX card has a backplate it is going to touch.

i would not get that cooler... if there is a little sag in the bard it will short the gpu

The D15S has better compatibility due to the asymmetrical design. It is essentially a single fan version of the D15.

(includes shipping: £8.70)

If you look at the review below, you can see that the D15S gives you a bit more room between the cooler and 1st pci-e slot.
