So this woman came into the shop where i work today. She started going on about something called Xado. She was saying that it gets rid of all the pieces of metal in your oil :O and puts them back in the ridges? or something in your engine lol.

I began to not pay attention to her after this lol but just wondering is xado a product that works (whatever its pupose)

she also mentioned a product called greased lightning, that you put in your oil / petrol to improve efficiency and fuel economy. She said it will give you 10% better fuel economy.

So i suspect she has been fooled into thinking this is good and actually does something.

Anyone heard anything about those?

Sounds like snake oil to me.

You should have known as soon as a woman opened her mouth when the subject was cars and mechanics

XADO engine treatment is different to other engine oil additives and fuel treatment, such as redex or greased lightning.When redex or greased lightning are added to engine oil, they change the composition of the oil. Greased Lightning is flogged a lot on those home shopping channels, obviously how she knows about it. No idea if it actually works, im skeptical about all the testimonies they show when selling it.
