Xb27hu panel replacement rage

Dear savior,

Today I was happily excited to receive my panel replacement from hongkong. All the connections fit perfectly except for the front panel buttons connector.
The small green flat wire is supposed to end up in a magically invinsible input, somewhere ?on/in/next to? the white control unit that is placed inside the bezel of the front part of the case.

A golden tip is highly appreciated after my long wait for the parcel =/ .

Is the bezel pcb new or your existing one? It looks like a dummy pcb do you have the older one from another bezel with connectors on.

The only thing that is new is the panel itself, I just forgot where the annoying thing goes :/

Have you checked underneath it? Maybe when you pull it off it was connected under it.

Where did you get the replacement panel from? Not planning on changing my monitor out any time soon so would be interesting to see if mine ever fails.
