No that price is not a typo. The original price before discount was 1200pts, now it's a 33% off at 800pts.
 
I didn't even realise this was on the arcade in the first place, the orginal R-Type was one of my favourite shooters way back when, might check out the trial.
 
The original R Type I played to death on the Master System but my god was it hard. I think I could only get 3 or 4 levels in and it was one of those games where you had to start from the beginning again.

I would never have got to see the end of the game without a cheat code. :D
 
So many games getting dropped from 1200pts to 800pts. Might try to convince my mate who has 360 to get the trial at least to try out. Maybe the 2 player/coop mode will convince him to cough up the points :) I already have the PS1 version on my PS3 but this looks much better.
