XBL Gamertag problem.

Hi,

I ordered an XBOX 360 the other day, waiting for it to arrive, so thought I would create my gamertag so that............well, I was just bored and excited really.

But anyway, I went to create one, selected a name which it said was available, then when I went to put in my passport details I couldn't login because I forgot a fullstop in my name. So my login failed a couple of times, I cancelled the registration and it said nothing would be saved.

When I realised what I had done wrong, I logged in on the XBL website with my passport details, but now it says that gamertag is taken.

Do I just have to wait a bit for it to become free again? It def isn't taken because when I go to an XBL gamertag site and search for it, it doesn't find it.

It has probably saved it when you tried to create it the first time. Try contacting the support for the site?

Ok done. They probably won't be able to do anything, but hey ho.

EDIT: Nevermind, it's working now
