How do i get hold of a gold membership my free month that i got with my premium jsut ran out ?

Buy a sub online via the dashboard (marketplace blade >> account management), or purchase a voucher code card from a store or e-tailer.

i got a free month on my xbox when i signed up with a gamertag, however i bought it second hand and the previous owner also had a gamertag so i assume he had a free trial too

this means a free trial is linked to a gamertag not a console serial IF he didnt take the free trial (dont see why he wouldnt ) can you just register 12 gamertags and get a free year?
