XBL Gold US subscriptions

Just seen on a well known asian games website a Xbox Live 12-Month Gold Card (Halo 3) US subscription which is substantially cheaper than the ones over here. Do these codes work on PAL consoles?

Region locked now, unless you can get the old style codes which where used for the Xbox 1.

They used to, not anymore. MS got wise to the fact and region protected them all.

Damn, oh well it was worth a try! Cheapest ive seen over here is £30 for a sub, guess thats the best price im going to find.
