XBL Profiles

I don't own an Xbox and I'm asking on behalf if my cousin so please accept my apologies if this is a stupid question.

He's ended up with two profiles. One which he created when he got his 360 and a new profile created at the weekend when he got Xbox Live.

Is it possible to transfer the points from his original profile to the new profile?

(Again I hope that makes sense and if not please don't shoot the messenger

)

He could have retrieved his GamerTag when he set up his Live Subscription though, which woul dhave kept his points.

i got a xbox.com profile and tag for the forums thats with my hotmail account
will i be able to use it for xbox live if i register with the email adress
