Hi all,

A few months ago when i bought my pc, thought the xblade case was awesome, a couple of weeks later, was sick of the blue leds all over the place...

The main leds are at the side case fan, would it be ok just to disconnect the fan? It extracts only a little air, so i dont think it ishould make that much different to temperature.

so would it be ok to yank the power cable from side fan?

Cheers

as dave said.. Should be fine just keep an eye on it.. And change your case the antec 900 is so much better!

dont kid yourself.... how many blue lights...

change the fans to non led ones?

i unplugged the side and front fan out, much quieter now, + no cheap blue lights!!!

but, temp has gone up a little, used to idle before at about 43, now its about 46,

Processor is amd sk939 4000+,

should this be ok?

Idle temps mean very little. It's load that counts. So long as it's under 70, you're not causing it any serious damage. Ideally, it's best to keep these running under 60.
