My parents went on holiday a few weeks back and got a friend of the family to mind the house why they were away, She changed some settings on their pc and now appletv using XMBC won't stream from the pc.
It finds the pc and I can see the shared folders but when I try to access them a window titled "lock settings" asks for a username and password, The apple tv has worked for months without problems it's only when they came back from holidays that it wouldn't work,
I have checked and password protected sharing is disabled and all the other sharing settings look ok, From searching around windows live essentials looks to be the culprit for this problem but no windows live programs are on the system
I have tried sharing from different drives and loads of different options but can't get it to stream no matter what I try,
