Hi Guys,

I have posted a thread in another section and was directed here for hardware to suit my requirements, so hoping you guys can point me in the right direction.

The original thread was: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?p=25120796&posted=1#post25120796

To update, what I am trying to achieve is to have a media centre running XBMC which can also stream Netflix and capture live TV. I currently have about 1TB of data on a USB harddrive as well which consists of films and TV shows at the moment.

This is going to go in the living room and so a smallish box which is pretty quiet would be good.

I don't really have a budget but less than £400 would be awesome. Just looking for the best set-up for the money really.

Any help on what hardware to use would be great.

Thanks,

I used a socket 1155 celeron in my htpc it was a good little chip, maybe you could loom at these or one of those A series chips from AMD, all ill say is dont skimp on the case if its going in the living room, imho if its going in plain site it needs to look the part.
