Since the BBC seems to be against people watching iPlayer on anything other than through a web browser (look, I really don't get that, we either are allowed to stream the media or not why the hell do they care how we do it, it doesn't let you store the media or manipulate it any way - what is their problem with it?) I was wondering how easy it is to switch virtual terminals when running XBMC on a revo.

Can you switch between tabs then just run a browser and control with wireless keyboard and mouse or does XBMC get antsy about that??

I believe the Boxee iplayer plugin wraps the website and uses the local adobe flash library rather than librtmp, you could try installing that instead.

On the XBMC website they said there is a way round it but they cannot do it for legal reasons which sucks :(

Out of interest can you use XBMC with ITV Player and 4OD etc??

Not as far as i'm aware. I switched to windows media centre 7 recently - there is a very nice iplayer plugin for that that plays flash smoothly on my acer revo 3600 (unlike boxee).

Yes it works fine, can't remember exactly which app i downloaded but it looks great. The interface is much better than the xbmc one.
