XBMC Question. My first time using it..

Ive just set up XBMC on my PC tonight and for the most part I can work things out.

However for some reason my TV shows are going a bit weird. I navigate to my South Park folder and all my seasons are in there... all fine..

Then my Family Guy folder which has 8 seasons in only displays 2 episodes from 2 seperate Seasons.

The Walking Dead only displays Season 2. However when I view files in a Folder mode I can see them all .

Why would it not show some files?
 
Ah it seems thats the problem. they are named with the episode names.

Do I have to manually change each name to a S01E01 scheme? ouch
 
I just changed Family guy names. They are all in a family guy folder, split into sub directories of season 1, season 2 etc.

I just changed first series names to "S01E01" etc and now XMBC has decided they are Formula1 1971 review or something :(
 
Ok thanks Ill have a mess about. Takes a while to get this all set up nicely. Completely new to me really.
 
I tried the renamer...

My files are like "Family Guy Season 4"...

then inside its like "01- North by north Quohog"

then I drag them into the renamer and it does nothing with them.

If it changed it into the S04E04 format my XMBC would find it easy. Doesnt seem to serve much purpose for me .hmm.
