XBone gripe :(

You can't be serious! Xbox Live has far less downtime in comparison to PSN. Put aside the PSN bonuses like more free games and whatnot. Just looking at simple reliablity, the Live network is superior. I can agree both services have their fallouts here 'n there but like the PS4 has the superior hardware, XBOX Live is the superior network.

I kinder agree but I've got to say I've not been effected by any psn downtime this year, so perhaps things have improved? Currently I can't quite see how people can call it superior though when it's been very stable for quite a while.

Wow one time  I think you're just a ps fanboy if you can't see that Xbox live is better then you're blind. I have both systems for the record and I've had more problems with psn then anything else

That is utter rubbish. I have both systems. Both services had SERIOUS problems last year which included lengthy down times over christmas. And BOTH services have been rock solid since the new year. There is absolutely NO difference between gaming online with either PSN or XBL.

Exactly, a lot keep banging on about the services but keep comparing them from last year.

I have to agree with the OP, I can't stand the store on my Xbox One, the PS4 store is leaps and bounds ahead.

I own both consoles, but barely turn on the Xbox, can't say why, but I just prefer using the PS4. Hence I'm going to sell the Xbox!

I'd just keep. I've got both consoles too and I play the majority of my time on the XBOX One. I know E3 will be big for both platforms and so I'd rather be in it to win it! :p

I only really use the search to find something specific, I rarely just go and look at the store so I can't really comment on the UI there. In terms of the overall UI, I really like it, I just wish it was a bit quicker sometimes.

As for games, I know it's on PC too, but you really should check out Ori and the Blind Forest.

I've always prefered Sony's layout to Microsofts on both the store and OS, I to own XBone, PS4, Wii U and a decent gaming PC and if I could rewind I wouldn't have bothered with both the PS4 and XBone as I think they're both seriously under powered and lack enough decent games to warrant TV space.

But you knew the specifications prior to release and surely seen game footage so moaning about it being underpowered is hardly fair especially when you have the Wii U. I would also suggest that over time developers will get better performance out of both consoles and display better visuals than your "decent gaming PC". Look at the PS3 and 360 games at release compared to the last games on the consoles. PC is always evolving however so it will always been ahead when it comes to visuals. If solely graphics are your things then consoles are not where it's at for you.

With regards to enough decent games, I barely have time to play all of the games on PS4 and Xbox One I want to play. I almost wish I had your problem

Some interesting responses, thanks guys.

My enjoyment has increased considerably now I came across Ori and the Blind Forest. Wow, what a fantastic little gem that is, cant stop playing it.

I still find the store really basic to navigate as you cannot filter/refine/sort the list of 'All Games' so you get just that...a list of all the games in no particular order, AKA a mess.

I trudged through the whole list and thankfully stumbled across Ori but the store layout is not what I would expect from the current console in 2015. If Sony can sort a list of games, Im sure Microsoft can too. Imagine doing your Tesco shopping online with no categorising, just a huge list of thousands of products in no order, good luck finding your favourite tea bags.
