xbox 1 to pc screen

Hi there looking at getting a xbox 1 the old big thigs and have not got a TV in my room so only way i could play it is by useing my pc monitor so is this possable and if so what would i need ? need to know ASAP as want to order the xbox in time for christmas.

a TV card and composite cable or a VGA box typically

yea 60.1503 GBP is quite pricey...i would google it and if you find the model you want then foogle it lol

After looking i now realise it has to work a LCD monitor which is now harder to find at low price

I have mine plugged into my TV card as Rapier said, then its just the same as switching between AV extensions on a normal TV using my remote. All of the VGA boxes I'd seen were a bit steep for what they actually did, when in reality you can get a TV card for almost the same price and watch TV too ...

X2VGA was awesome when i had one, pricey but damned good.

So if i buy any tv card it will work? because i wanted a tv card as well

It will work, but on the whole, will look garbage.

You can get a VGA box for about £20....
But how good it look on a PC monitor,,I have no idea..But it should give you much better PQ then a PC TV card will..
