xbox (1st one) question

Where can i get a powercord from? I broke an old xbox like 2yrs ago getting it back in week again but i lost the powercord in the mean time. Anything else i can substitute it with other than the power MS one?

Its just a standard 'figure of 8' jobbie IIRC as the actual PSU is internal, should be able to pick one up from most electrical shops or nick one off another gizmo in the house.

Yeah i thought it was internal been so long since i had the xbox i cudnt remember, cheers for that! I know what to look for now :cool:

There was a time when they sent out new cords with built in RCD's if your Xbox was of a given serial number range, they might still be doing that.

Aye, think I saw the link on the Xbox site only last week, so I assume they still offer the replacement.

Wasn't sure whether it required you to sent back the original lead though, don't think it did.

Nope just email them or phone them with your details and a new one comes in the post.
