Xbox 3 Red Lights

quick question guys.

looks like my 360 has finaly bitten the dust. Had it since may last year. Been crashing fair bit recently/ locking up (started when i bought prey not sure if it has anything todo with it) got a ridgeracer today and it crashes at the start of the race. I then get 4 Red lights. Iam using a 3rd party vga cable to hook it up to my monitor so i undo the lot and rig it up to the tv with the standard MS scart cable. I get 4 Red lights then the dredded 3.

My question is do i ring MS to see if they can fix or just take it straight back to the shop?

Can u get out of 3 red lights?

cheers! seems we are having the same problem, i was also getting the artifacts when it crashed.

Rekon ill take it back to the store tomorrow cos i was really looking forward to some gaming this weekend.

If it's still under Warranty then your quickest bet is take it back to the shop, you'll wait about a week for M$ to swap it around

if i get a replacement from the shops do i get another years warrenty?

From the shop no i wouldn't think so, your year will be from the date you bought the first 360....

But, register your replacements new serial number with M$ and they'll assume you bought a new one and will start a years warranty from then

just taken it back. They didnt have any of the core packs left so i got an upgrade to the premium for £30

Very pleased.

when i took mine back to Gamestation they gae me another years warranty from the replacement date
