Xbox 360 120GB Hard Drive Pricing

Was thinking of getting one of these for the market place stuff but 130 notes :eek:

Surely they will drop down to the price of 20Gig hard drives which are £60, the HD DVD player is only £100 which is a bargain compared to the £130 Hard Drive

The price of the 20Gb should drop with the 120Gb coming out. The prices are awful for the hard drives, seeing as you could get almost a 1TB hard drive for the same price.

Standard laptop 2.5" drive by the looks of it.

Try bodging together your own 1TB hdd to work with the 360 - im sure someone has done it.

Lol, it's not going to work as the drives have security keys on them to stop any random drive being used.

You can stick a western digital scorpio in with a bit of fiddling. 120GB for £50 instead of Microsofts ridiculous price.

if and when the update comes out? is that today ? its supposed to bring the video marketplace into action will this be using much hd space? if so i would imagine whenever the major push for upgrades stops it will come down in price.

You still need a valid 120GB key though, no?

Sony did something right here allowing you to put your own in. 160gb in my ps3.

Yes , but they can be obtained. It's why I just said a bit of fiddling , really didn't wish to detail it too much , in case it crossed the line and got deleted.
