Xbox 360 3 Red Rings

I have just pulled down my old Xbox from the loft and it has the 3 Red Lights! It was made in like 2005 so is like 4 Years+ Old! So I doubt I will be able to send it to Microsoft for a replacement one!

So is their a good method to fix it yourself? I dont mind getting myself stuck in to be honest! Would be a nice project to do!

research on the Internet for X-clamp replacement fix etc, some kits available on auction sites etc with instructions. Not very hard but sometimes the xbox is a little to far gone for repair and will end up wasting to much of your time if you keep trying to fiddle and fix it ...

XClamp should do it, will cost you about a fiver. Worth a bash, takes about 30 mins to do.

Either than or google the penny trick. You basically put some penny's on the underside chips with arctic silver. Simple and effective heatsink.
