XBox 360 and Dell 2407

Just a quick couple of questions really. Just submitted to the suggestive callings of my credit card and bought a 360. First question is: Do I hook it up to my 32" w/s SDTV or my Dell 2407. Obviously the tv has larger screen but the monitor has better definition. Last question is: Is it straightforward connecting it to the 2407 and is it just the HD av cable I need?

Yeah that'll work fine and look amazing.

I felt the colours were a little washed out on component connections however and opted to run the VGA cable instead. That would mean an extra purchase.

However a little tweaking to the monitor setup should sort that out

Yeah this is my dilemna really as to which HD cable to get. I run the pc through the VGA connector as I had allsorts of problems running certain resolutions when using DVI. Wonder if I can plug the XBox into the KVM....hmmm. Other problem is about DD sound output. Does the VGA and Component cables come with a Toslink fitting like the old Box one or is it a composite?

Thanks Kreeeee. I hear some people don't rate the component setup to the 2407. Anyone happy with it?
