Hi Folks,

I managed to get my iPod to play through my Xbox 360 yesterday but was unsure how you actually stop and eject the iPod from the xbox. Obviously the iPod shows its do not disconnect screen when it is plugged in but unlike plugging in to a PC it doesn't seem like you can stop it and eject it. The only way I managed to get rid of the do not disconnect screen was to turn thexbox off.

Is it ok just to remove the ipod even though it says do not disconnect or is there a way of ejecting it that I have missed?

Thanks all

Matt

I would suggest that, so long as nothing is playing from the iPod, you're fine to just disconnect it. The "do not disconnect" warning is normally only to stop corruption if the device is disconnected while being written to.

Mine broke the clock on my ipod, it said London: 1:39AM when it was 4pm? Anyway a restore fixed it, but I just used to stop the music and unplug the ipod or turn it off while music was playing, which i think broke the clock.

theres something that you can download off of xbox live and its called "optional ipod support" not sure what exactly it does but i think it would solve your problem
