xbox 360 and ps3 to one hdmi port?

how do i do this? i've just looked at a few hdmi Y cables on ebay. but i'm apprehensive to buy one and it not to work..

i have googled, but cant find much on the subject..

how can i connect both consoles up to one hdmi port on a samsung P2450H monitor?

Just need a HDMI switch and multiple HDMI cables...

As ps3ud0 say, a switch is the way to go. Something like this will be fine.

Also, may I ask what speakers you will be using with the consoles?

i've got a cable coming out from my samsung monitor to 2 phono ends red/white. thats going into my hifi system. i really should get some pc speakers though, as these boom the sound out whatever setting i have it on lol.
