Hi guys,

I have just bought myself a Xbox 360 from a friend, I have it 'hooked' up to my network but its telling me it cant connect to my PC.
I've tried to install the Windows Media Connect 2.0 program, but cant get it to work as I dont have Service Pack 2 installed.

Personally I hate service pack 2 and wouldnt install it if someone paid me to, so I was just wondering if there is a way around installing it or if I'm doomed because I have to?

If so, I just wont bother :D

Its a great console, graphics and sound is awesome... Shame I dont have a HD TV :(

I have had a quick read so hopefully something might happen... I just dont like Service Pack 2 as I have heard and had problems installing and then, uninstalling it... Just cant be bothered with doing that all over again!!

I'll see about downloading it again then... Is it worth having a fresh install and just installing Service Pack 2 first or do I have to install Service Pack 1 and then Pack 2?

Is it affecting performance or anything? When I installed it last, it was adding icons and software in places I didnt want ie Explorer and so on... Just kept getting in the way....

Many thanks for the tips and hints, I will do a fresh install anyways and install service pack 2 later :)

I'll try and do a before and after thingy... I'm sure the guys and gals (if any?) will help :)

Like it on this forum :)
