I currently use an 'Arcade' model with HDMI out and a 120gb hard drive. I also own one of the original Pro consoles with the chrome DVD bezel.

I've seen the latest Xbox S is now available for the measly sum of £150.

Besides the larger 250gb hard drive, is it worth me bothering to upgrade and sell off my old ones?

Only real upgrades I can think of are inbuilt Wifi-N, on the board optical out (wasn't there on the orignal consoles not sure about the revisions), cool plinky touch sensertive buttons and a nicer looking case.

If your old one is working fine, then there really isn't much point in upgrading.

I have an Arcade + 60GB drive, and I keep seeing the shiny new S models, but for the pittance I'd get for my old 360, and the fact that the new one doesn't do anything extra, it just looks different. I can't justify the outlay.

Can't think of any good reason, and assuming the old one is a Jasper, then even the red ring of death is unlikely to be a factor.

i have the 4gb matt black version and its been fine for almost a year now. alwas had problems with the previous.

i would say upgrade because

- its cooler
- quiter
- looks better
- will last longer
- red dot of death is very unlikely

Well it's also got wireless built in but I imagine you either already have the wifi adapter or have no use for one.

Best thing about it is its whisper quiet with games installed to hard drive, if that and the new features mentioned above dont appeal then I guess its probably not worth an upgrade.
