Xbox 360 arcade & 120gb hdd

So I bought an arcade to use while my pro gets a repair job due to RROD. I thought it'd be a simple case of take the hdd off the pro and stick it on the arcade.

Now everytime I play a game, it asks me to select the hard drive or the internal memory of the console. Also I just lost 2 hours of alan wake because it would not save correctly now the hdd is on the arcade.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

How can I set it to just ignore the internal memory?

New Arcades come with internal memory instead of a memory card due to the NXE needing space.

Not sure how to ignore it, if you can at all.

My 360 was replaced with a new Jasper around 5 or so weeks ago, It has the Internal memory & I do have to select the HD before I start playing but it does save to HD auto though once sorted.
I think the option of where to save is decided by You when you start the game.
I've had no probs with auto save.

Replaced my RROD Falcon with a new Jasper a few weeks ago, thankfully the memory unit selection screen is nothing new for me as i always have multiple storage devices attached anyway
