If I was to purchase an arcade and purchase a 20gb HD, would this be any different to an older xbox 360 20gb premium? Does it have anything that isn't as good or worthwhile?

also silver drive bezel but thats just cosmetic. I actually have an original Core system (like the arcades but without mem cards) and a 20gb hdd i bought for it not long after

Sounds reasonable, any idea if the newer 360s such as Arcade suffer from any of the issues of RROD?

Suppose it's a better idea as it gives me that 3 year guarantee as opposed to buying a used one anyway. And can purchase HD separately. Thanks for the info guys :)

but then you gotta think, it doesnt cost much more for a Pro pack (an extra £30 or so. £129 compared to £165) that comes with a 60gb drive, headset plus when you sign up with a gamertag you get a month's worth of Live for free anyway

Okay so it is still a saving.. which I'd rather save - how much does 1 game take up on this new software? Just the size of the dvd?
