Yes the arcade one can, but I am going to get the premium with 20gb hd.

My brother has that, I will just borrow it. The only game that is exclusive to that system I want to play is Metal Gear Solid 4. Is it worth paying all that extra money for it? I dont need blue ray. The graphics are not better. As far as I know xbox 360 is better. So I will save money and buy 360

Especially when the cheapest you can pick that console up for is £300. lol. Sony need to work on dropping PS3 price to £200. They will sell a lot more at that price. I may have considered one at that price. But £300 and they only have a few good exclusive games? Are they kidding? Even final fantasy is coming out on the 360, which is a big blow to sony I may add.

Also now that the Blue ray vs hd-dvd war is over, why not start selling PS3's without blue ray? Give people the option.

They're still currently making a loss on each unit of the console sold, if they could reduce the price i'm sure they would. In order to get it down to the £300 price point they had to rip out a few bits and bobs, in order to get it lower they would have to take out even more bits (wireless... that's about all i can think of that isn't essential).

All of their games are on blu-ray disks, if they removed it it would effectively become a dvd upscaler capable of playing PS1 games.

LOL. I total forgot about that. Well it seems they will be stuck at that price point till it becomes cheaper to manufacture the parts. I think that they have lost out on so many people who would have purchased PS3 over xbox or just wanted one because they had a PS2 due to their price point. They will sell more in a couple of years probably. But that's kind of a bit late I think.
