The cheats are entered in the pause menu.

constructive as ever
the issue was inputting the cheat codes into need for speed undercover, they appear to input, but dont work, am i missing something

and yes i have already googled it, and inputted them in according to all the things i have read, which are numerous

any tips appreciated, real tips

Which cheats are you trying to use?

(and don't be so arsey - your OP didn't state that you had already tried it and they weren't working. You made it sound as though you didn't know how/where to get them at all).

If you are trying to get the cars apparently they only work in the quick race modes.
