Well unless you play with your controller behind your back, it catches your peripheral vision.

My battery has got worse with the alerts lately. Also my battery has never really fully charged. No matter how long i leave it connected for, it never seems to get full. PITA really.

Let it drain right out to nothing, like, completely dead, won't turn on, then give it a full charge.

Best way, especially if you have two controllers.

Depends, maybe some don't have plug and play or a battery pack, maybe they need to go to the shop and get new batteries, so in that case its a good time to warn the power is getting low

Well if someone is using non rechargables, surely they are best to be warned when it is low and not change batteries that are half good.
