Xbox 360 Controller help.

Hope this is the right section.

Basically I've got a wireless 360 controller that seems to die real easy on normal batteries and would like some advice on which one of 3 options I should get to recharge the batteries instead of just finding new ones.

All can be found in a local supermarket and so just need to know which one to buy.

Xbox 360 Charge Station - Long flat version used to charge one battery in the controller and one out.
Xbox 360 Express Charger Kit - Circular stand used for charging two batteries at once
Xbox 360 Wireless Controller Charge Kit - USB cable and a spare battery.

They're all basically the same price so just need to know.

Personally I went for the quick charge kit( 2 batteries at a time plugged in to the charger that is plugged into the wall). Cant recall if it came with 1 or 2 rechargeable packs, but I have 2. It takes a couple of hours to charge and last for a fair few hours. I tend to use 1 and charge the other, so i always have a back up :-)

Had it now since Sept '07 and have had no problems, unlike my 360.....

I went for the USB cable which came with rechargable battery. Maybe only because I'm cheap though :eek:

Works fine for me, sit pretty close to my 360 and pc so it isn't a problem. I just slap it on charge when its running low

I use energizer lithiums in my controller and they last forever.

I normally use the usb cable and battery, when I finish playing on the 360 I just hook it upto my pc and charge the pad up

I've just got some rechargeable Energizers from the Argos catalogue in mine. They were only cheap, came with the charger and they seem to last quite a while, I have one set charging while the other set is in use. Usually I get around 30 hours of game time before having to swap batteries, so maybe that might be worth having a look at :-)

Get the - Xbox 360™ Quick Charge Kit

Its the best option available to you... so much better than the other options its not even funny... one of the best pieces of kit I have ever bought. Comes with 1 rechargeable battery pack and you can buy another for 5-10quid? can't quite remember but its SO worth it.

Charges take 2hours for one battery pack and 4 if you charge both at the same time... but they last around 24 hours after each charge...
whts the point in the ones that plug in via wired to charge up? they aren't supposed to charge very well and you end up having it plugged in most times.
