Simple question...can I use my sons Xbox 360 wired controller on my PC. It has a USB plug on it...but can I get or do I need drivers to make this work?

Cheers

yes, very good. the best infact:

Is it that good? I'm so attached to the PS/PS2 controller I think I'm going to have a hard job adjusting to another. My eldest son is getting an Xbox 360 so I'll have to give it a go.
Currently have two PS2 contollers connected through one of these USB/Playstation converter gadgets.

not so sure about the best, but yes it is very good, and feels as natural as a PS2 pad.

I use one for Live for Speed. I had to download third party drivers as you cant, if i remember correctly, adjust the deadzones on the thumbsticks with the original drivers? Haven't checked to see if they've been updated.

Mine no longer rumbles though after I pressed the "Sleep" hotkey on my keyboard thus crashing Windows . Lost three case fans and a stick of memory at the same time. Sleep, indeed!:(

Its a nice controller though and helped me move from Xbox/PES5 to the X360/PES6.
