Xbox 360 controller w/Windows 7

Hi,

I'm getting a gaming pc this week coming, and i wanted to know something. Do i need drivers to be able to use an xbox 360 wired controller on a pc with windows 7 home premium 64 bit, someone told me ages ago you can just plug in and play on vista, but they may have been lying or not known, i was just hoping if you guys knew?

Yep, plug and play on Windows 7.

Yeah, plugged my wired one into my W7 rig and it automatically installed the required drivers.
