ok i've been told that normal 360 controllers work in xp, you just need to download drivers, first of is this true yea?

if so do the wireless controllers work?

Wired: Yes

Wireless: Need a USB adapter.

The wired controllers do. I use one for Test Drive Unlimited.

The XBCD drivers are much better than the default MS ones.

I've got 2 wired controllers with XBCD installed, best solution possible AFAIK, can't fault it at all.

Yeah you really need the XBCD drivers installed, the official ones are pants.

I never used the official drivers. My flatmate bought TDU a few weeks before I did so he knew what worked and what didn't. I just downloaded the XBCD drivers straight off.

I did have to tell Windows Update not to bother me with the official drivers though.
