This is G0dfathers mate, just a quick post because next week i will be getting my first XBox 360 console, any my last obviously. :p I was wondering whats the difference between XBox 360 Premium and Core, i don't have internet at my house so i won't be playing Live and im just a casual gamer, shell i buy the XBox 360 with the HDD or the normal Core pack and buy an additional Memory pack aswell?

Jason.

You get the hard disk, headset and wireless controller as standard, all in all, a lot more value for money than the core alone in the event that you want to buy these extras at a later date. But if your not going to play on live then they aren't a necessity as long as you get a memory card.

Is the headset and wireless controllers any good? I think i might get the premium pack but just need a few more thumbs up before i make my final decision. :)

If you're only going to be playing offline then go for the core, no need for the HDD unless you have a burning desire to play Football Manager.

just be careful, you said you werent going to use live. This was like my friend and he bought saints row and it required a dashboard update so jus tbe aware that you may at some point need to plug it into the internet.

You can't play FM without Premium pack?

The headset is pants TBH but i think its worth getting the Pro Pack for the wireless pad and HDTV conections also the HDD has all the emulation software for xbox 1 games without this you cant play old xbox games

By the time you have paid for the core got a memory card (u will need this) and got a wireless pad (no cables does make a difference) you may as well have paid the extra for the full pack

For me its a no brainer really

Ah yes, there are some games that require the hard disk in order to play and others that require updates to be downloaded for them.
