Having some problems with my 360 at the moment.
Hadnt used my xbox for 1 - 2 months until today. Last time i used it i took it around a friends house. Decided to download death magnetic for guitar hero.
Plugged all the cables back in. Turned it on, first thing i get is one red light and an E68 error. I think i had that once before and it was hdd related, so i took out the hdd, blew on the connection to make sure it didnt have any dust or anything and put it back in.
Error had then gone. So i went into guitar hero, downloadable content and as i was scrolling down, it crashed and a few secs later i got some graphics corruption, looked like it was artifacting.
made sure all the vents wernt clogged up with dust, atleast as best i could without taking it apart.
left it for an hour or so just incase it was a blip.
Turned it on, seemed like everything was ok.
downloaded the guitar hero stuff, which was 1.34gb so took awhile didnt crash at all.
Now i come to actually play guitar hero and it just crashes as i start a song.
Is my 360 dying. The console is about 2 years old so out of the original warrenty. I guess if i want it repaired il have to make it rrod? or will it do that anyway eventually?
