xBOX 360 + dell Tft Possible?

Just got a 360 and have a Dell 20" monitor (forgot the model :rolleyes:

)....Is anyone running there 360 through a tft monitor?

If so how are you connected through the composite or through the special vga adapter available for it?

Is the picture quality anygood?....better than a standard non-HD tv?

Any info would be great

VGA cable is what you want and the picture is comparitable to HDTV, so yes, it's head and shoulders better than SDTV. Most people here probably run their Xbox360's via VGA (myself inclusive at the moment).

mine runs on my Dell 2007WFP through a VGA lead and it looks great for when i cant use my 40" LCD when the wifes watching TV

You can get VGA leads for the Xbox360 from any major (and most minor) gaming stores.

Get the Official Microsoft one from Gameplay.com:

I thought most Dell TFT`s have component inputs?

At least Im sure my 2405FPW does.

i think its only the 24" ones and above

Buy a tuner card for the PC and make her use the 20 inch monitor

I used to use a dell 2005 and it was fine with the VGA, when i got my HDTV though, it hasn't been back on the monitor lol

Remember you will need to sort something out for sound too though
