Xbox 360 F1 game

Anyone have any news at all on when there is likely to be an F1 game for the 360? As a huge F1 fan, a F1 championship season played online would be quite something.

Yeah would be mental, an official fully licensed f1 game, not gonna happen though as dont sony have the official license?
 
Big F1 fan here too, hope we see one given that F1 on the pc was a totally dead genre. I doubt we will though, since I'm quite sure Sony have the license until 2008 from what I can remember.
 
Would love an F1 game on the 360, but it would be worse than PGR3 for ppl punting you off the track, ripping your wing off or snapping you wheel.
 
I havnt seen no news but i think Sony hold the Liscence so i dont think will see one on the 360 unfortunately. :(

It has been shown that is one of possible launch titles for PS3 maybe F1 but their is hardly any info at all.
 
It would probably be pants anyway. only people who like F1 would buy it because its F1. there are always superior driving games about. Like PGR.
Please, no one try to tell me that F1200.... was better that gran turismo series!
I cant wait for this motoGP game on xbox, that does look good!

Check my post list again mate, Ive always said I wanted one but after buying one and playing for a couple of hours, I'm more concerned about failures than ever. I really wouldnt want to lose it for even a day ;)

Yeah Nuclear thanks for the link but I just got lucky, after another fruitless morning phoning around at work I thought i'd pop to the gym. On the way I passed an argos and Just thought it was worth a look. Punched the code in and 1 premium left. Punched it in again. Wrote the slip out then joined a queue of 20 punters.

Some of them looked suspicious, about my age then I started to fret they may have the golden ticketin the queue ;) Listened intently to every order until it was my turn. Funny thing was when I got it given to me, you could see people going to check the listings :D

Even though sony have it, there have still beeen f1 games on the original xbox havent there?

Qulifying would be great online, especially in a free for all. I could ruin everyones hot lap driving like jos the boss.

No I don’t think it will everything to do with F1, Formula 1 etc are all copyrighted. I don’t think Sony do have the licence for all F1 games anymore you don’t have the licence for ever its like 5 years or something around those lines.

It’s like with PRO EVO 5 football is NOT copyrighted but football team and players names are so to get around this you just change the names.
 
there is a demo of a PS3 version of an F1 game, no doubt pre rendered nonsense still but who knows.
Also you can play F1 2005 online with the PS2, dont know if you can do a full championship, but could probably arrange one through the PS forums though
