Mooching... in your house
So, in our house we have got a main telly which is used for Sky HD & the PS3, and a smaller telly in the conservatory which at the moment is using an indoor aerial, which despite being labelled at "freeview ready" and all that, only actually picks up the bbc channels...

so, I don't want to have to run a coax cable all the way into there (which would only allow us to watch the same as the main box anyway), and I don't want to buy multiroom, so my question is if I get a 360 will it run sky just as well as a second sky box or is the quality a bit poo over the tinterweb?

You'd effectively have to purchase multiroom to run Sky from the 360. I think the channels available are a bit limited at the moment.

naah you just need to be on broadband unlimited, which we are...

(if you pay for broadband unlimited or already have multiroon, sky player is free... if you have neither you can pay £5 for "sky player multiroom" which gives you access to the online stuff ;))

only tried it on the beta and the quality was very good with no freezing while waiting to stream content.

of the available channels, i was able to view the ones i paid for on normal sky and i especially liked the theater part where your avatar sat and watched the shows with your friends avatars around you.

Whoa, the xbox 360 has sky on it already?! Since when did this come into play?

How do I get it to work on the 360? Any links!!!!

Been to busy playing games!

Worth bearing in mind, you can see all the channel listings and view the free channels eg Sky News without a valid Sky Subscription, however to view (ie watch) the majority of content - eg movies and sport you'll need to be a subscriber to the relevant pacakge.

We have broadband unlimited but only the basic variety tv package, so for me its a little pointless, although I do apreciate the slick interface they have developed.
