xbox 360 freezes

Hi, im having problem with my xbox 360 it keeps freezing when i put a game, or if the 1 in the drive it will load the game, then it will flash with little grey boxs then its totally frozen, i dont get no red flashing light.
I have been playing a lot of halo 3 lately, spent a lot of hours on it


i have taken off all the connection & hard drive, still does it and i dont think it overheating, its beside my pc monitar

is it a sign of that its dying, im on my secound console:(.

does any 1 know how much it cost 2 get xbox 360 repair by ms or is it shipping charge?
 
yes im acctually getting 3 red light today when i turn it on 3 red light, if not it will load 2 dash board then freeze if i turn it off then turn it back on 3 red light i been on those web site they didnt help
 
Thanks all 4 the info:), called ms about the charge and explaining what wrong with my console, they said it was free of charge, lady on phone was kind, but she was really fast, sending me the label, told me to put it on a box.

can any 1 sugjest any box for me, i was thinking going 2 sainsbury scine i work there i will pick up a wine box will that do?
 
Just have to send the console nothing else right?

Anything that will fit, wrap it in bubblewrap, shread lots of papers fill the box just make sure its supported inside box

Haha quality.

Yup both mine starting crashing with the picture fragmenting into small squares. A few days later BAM 3RLOD!

I just packed mine in a box I got from W H Smith and filled it with a whole roll of bubblewrap. Didn't they used to send you the box?
