I just recently bought a 360 and not going to go online with it anytime soon. I understand there sometimes updates for games available.

Do i need to hook my 360 online before i can get the updates for games?
Also is there a site i can goto to find if any updates are available for my games?

I think for the main 360 firmware upgrades themselves you can download and burn them to disc.

Also why not go online? You don't need to pay for a gold profile, just hook her up and create a silver one. Then you can get all the nice updates.

Also if he hasn't used Xbox Live before then I think you still get 1 month FREE on a gold membership

Believe it or not the Xbox can move if you pick it up :p

Move it to wherever your wired router is, or your PC and sort out ICS, and do the updates. Simple really.
