xbox 360 games advice

Ive just got into gaming on my 360 even tho ive had it 18 months and hardly used it , being a pc gamer i really struggled getting to grips with the pads but finally ive started to get used to, it i noticed that im a lot better using the sticks if i use right stick to move forward/backwards and left stick to look around

The thing is some of the demos ive downloaded like battlefield bad company for instance only let u use the sticks the other way around (left stick forward/back) , does the full game let you configure the sticks yourself ? and what other FPS games left you fully configure the sticks/buttons ?
 
When I first transitioned to console gaming (i.e. to a gamepad), I was like you, and preferred the controls the opposite to what is considered the norm..

However, as you are finding, some games don't allow you to swap the controls over. In the end, I just forced myself to get used to the left stick moving, right stick looking configuration and it didn't take too long to adjust.

I was the same, sadly as above it's better to just bite the bullet and force yourself to use the standard layout, you'll get used to it eventually. Don't give up, there's some fantastic games on offer you won't be able to get for your PC and it would be a shame for you to miss out on them.
 
so the standard config for 360 games is left stick moving and right stick looking ?
