Hi Folks,

I am still in 2 minds whether to get a 360 today based on how much I'd play it I am looking to get 3 games for it, they will probably be GOW, TDU and one other (maybe oblivion, not sure yet)

Apart for oblivion do the other 2 games have a lot of playability, bear in mind I won't be playing the online for a while (will probably have to wait to get a wireless kit for it (they are expensive!)?

I don't really want to spend loads of money and then have completed the games in a fews hours each!

How long does GOW last is single player and also TDU?

Thanks

Matt

GoW doesn't last long in sp tbh, Vegas is a better game than GoW but again, doesn't last long in sp. Not sure about TDU but I would imagine that would last longer in sp, but a large part of the TDU experience is online multiplayer.

I'm not sure what to suggest if you want a long lasting sp game, Oblivion is probably a good start tho.

possibly saints row?

its lasted me a good while depends if you one of these people that batter games or one that sits back and enjoy the experience and takes your time

In the initial excitement of buying a 360 you could complete GoW in a day and Vegas probably in a weekend. However if you enjoy Oblivion, you won't need another game until the next millennium :D

Thanks,

is there a better way of getting the 360 to be wireless rather than buying the official adapter, it seems a lot of money to spend on something so basic!

Not that I'm aware of unfortunately. The two cheapest ways are wired (even if that means buying a super long Ethernet cable) or linking it up through your PC if its nearby and using ICS.

Grab yourself a wireless bridge, these are a lot cheaper than the official adapter and do the job just as well (if not better)

Something like this? .

That's half the price, a bit more reasonable. Do they have an software they need to be installed or any difficulties in configuring them to use the 360?

Thanks

Matt

EDIT: Do I get a trial of Live with a premium bundle or will I need to pay the 40 quid aswell?

I played TDU offline when i was at home (no broadband), it takes AGES. Lots of stuff to keep you going, maybe not as much as oblivion (about 360 hours for my main character now  )
