Hi guys.

I've just filled up my 20gb hdd with Ninja Gaiden Black from the marketplace and was wondering?

If I was to go out and purchase the 120gb drive for my 360 do I need to use the one-time-only transfer cable or is there another way.

The only reason I ask is that the only reference that I've seen for this cable is when changing machines (like upgrading to an Elite).

The cable is designed for 20-to-120GB-upgrades. It's not for people who've got a Premium and then change to Elite which is why it's included with the 120GB HDD but not the Elite. That's Microsoft's official line on it anyway.

You could buy the 120GB HDD and then apply for the transfer cable, or just hook up your new HDD, recover your gamer tag and re download the file. I know if you do this with XBLA (Arcade) games, the DRM, prevents you from playing that game offline, but I don't know the exact deal with these "XBOX Originals". As long as your machine is always connected to Live it should not cause you a problem. My way is probably quicker, as I know there is a long queue for the transfer cable to do it the "proper" way.

quick replies thanks.

So there's one included in the 120gb HDD when you buy it?

I'm super lazy and don't want to swap the HDD around :D

As you can tell, I haven't done much research into this yet. The 360 is like a cult thing over here so there aren't too many people I can tap for advice.
