Got 300 dispatched this morning, The Island being delivered tomorrow and Heroes Season 1 coming next month \![]()
And its barely noticeable over the regualr tv speakers either.Kainz said:Given that the drive can be bought for just £99, its a complete steal....even more so as it hooks up to Vista.

can you stand the noise of your 360 during a film?
ps2wizz said:just so you know, the hd-dvd drive DOES support DTS (also my prefered audio format). it was added a few months ago in a patch. I've watched HD-DVD's in DTS on it
I say get one, the 360 is quiet when playing a hd-dvd, its not using its normal CD drive that causes most of the noise people complain about anyway. its cheap and you can plug it into your PC and watch the films on your PC, assuming your spec's ok for it. It will also do 1080p (why wouldnt it??? its a hd-dvd drive lol), again providing your screen supports it
Try not to post advice unless you are sure you are correct. Hint: You're not.neocon said:1360x768 = 1080i
1080p = 1900x1000 so no need to worry about playing back 1080p on your tv tbh
Get a ps3, ps3 does 1080p and DTS

though i prefer vga anyway
