My brothers having a few issues with his Xbox 360.
It just randomly started bleeping when he tried to turn it on, when he removed the HDD is started up fine but started beeping again shortly after.
He left the HDD in, reset the 360 and it started up fine again, but then started beeping a short while after. He took the Ethernet lead out of the 360 and this seems to have stopped the beeping altogether.
What usually causes this? Is the Xbox 360 on its way out?
There is 2 years RROD warranty on it, however the warranty is assigned to the Live account of the person he bought it off, he said he was going to transfer it but he never did, he must have forgot.
If he contacted Microsoft would they transfer it for him?
Any advice appreciated.
